- 1 cup chopped strawberries
- 2/3 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup tomato ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1. Preheat an oven to 250 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a rack on top.
2. Set aside. Heat the strawberry bbq sauce ingredients in a large saucepan over medium heat.
3. Cook the strawberry bbq sauce, occasionally stirring, until it’s thick (about 30 minutes).
4. Add the strawberry bbq sauce to a large glass bowl and place in the oven for 2 hours.
5. Stir every 15 minutes until the Strawberry BBQ sauce is thick and only about half of it is liquid (roughly 1 hour total).
6. Let cool completely in the refrigerator overnight.
