This vegan tahini sauce recipe is easy to make with just 5 simple ingredients. Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processor, add 2 cups water, and blitz for about 2 minutes.

Once you have made this garlicky vegan tahini sauce, it can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. I have included the recipe below.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of tahini
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/4 tsp of garlic powder
  • 3 tsp of nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil (melted)
  • 2 cups of water

Directions:

1. Place all ingredients apart from the water in a food processor or blender and whizz for about 2 minutes or until very smooth and creamy.

2. Pour the blended ingredients and 2 cups of warm water into a bowl and whisk well until it becomes slightly tahini-yogurt-like. For a smoother consistency, you can add more water if necessary.

3. Transfer the tahini sauce into an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

4. Serve with your favorite sandwiches, wraps, or salads.
